MaturiCitySelf-assessment · MCT1

Welcome to MaturiCity

This questionnaire allows you to assess your city’s practices at the first maturity level, MCT1. You can complete it individually or with the key stakeholders in your city. To get a more complete picture, we recommend consulting the people involved in the different practices. If you need help completing it, please do not hesitate to contact our team.

For each of the 7 practices, choose the response among the 4 options that best describes your city’s current situation.

If you select one of the three more mature responses, you can specify, in 2 or 3 sentences, how this practice is carried out in your city. For example, indicate the actions in place, the teams involved, or how the results are used. When relevant, also explain what is missing to reach the response at the next level.

These details are optional, but they help us better understand your reality and provide you with tailored recommendations. They will remain confidential and will only be used by the MaturiCité team for this purpose.

At the end of the questionnaire, you will discover your overall score and your results by pillar for the MCT1 level. You will be able to leave your contact details to receive a summary of your responses and our initial recommendations to continue your process.

MaturiCity level 1: MCT1

At maturity level MCT1, you are a city involved for the good of its citizens.

You use complaints and comments as a source of citizen voice, and you occasionally run satisfaction surveys on specific services. This helps you identify improvements that meet citizens' needs. You also involve citizens in launching and improving city services (Citizen connection pillar).

You communicate openly about your vision, which explicitly states the importance of the citizen experience, and you help teams understand it by giving them the means to apply it day to day (Citizen experience strategy pillar).

Finally, you continuously improve citizens' experience based on service standards defined from their expectations and lived experience, and you regularly train front-line teams in citizen relations (Citizen experience improvement pillar).
